intro to the holidays

It was such a great weekend the past few days!

Sal and I were able to spend a lot of time together, relaxing. Wednesday night we had friends over to play video games. It was a blast! Thursday we had two Thanksgiving celebrations to attend, both with our families. We had a lot of fun with everyone. Friday we lounged around, did a little bit of shopping later in the afternoon, and ate smoked turkey that Jan made with Sal's family. Soooo delicious. When I got home I made some homemade cheesecake for the following day. Saturday I went and got sushi at my favorite sushi place--and all the bills were 20% off because we went for lunch! Apparently that's an offer they have now, and I had no clue. So awesome. Then we got drinks from Bubble Island =]. Afterward, I made some food for another Thanksgiving dinner. Sal and I then went to one of our best friend's house for a full thanksgiving meal. We played some video games (The Price is Right, lol!) and watched Super 8 while enjoying some dessert wine and the cheesecake I made! Today has been spent sleeping in, laying around, cleaning, grocery shopping. It's been productive. We ate lunch at Sam's Club for my first time--$1.70 for a huge Nathan hot dog and 32 oz drink. Pretty sweet!

The next few weeks are about to be extremely hectic. However, only 3 weeks until another break. I must believe I can last that long...... :D :-P
