taylor swift attitude

Despite my cold that is filling my head with congestion, I am doing well.
I have been working out and eating right for almost a week now…I know, I know.A week. Hilarious. But really…I’m bad at sticking to things so I feel like if I can make it just a little bit longer it’ll be routine. I’m already feeling healthier, so that’s awesome. I am trying to lose about 10 pounds. I am just sick of these thunder thighs and unhealthy habits. My body is a temple for my spirit and I must treat it right :) I want to be healthy for myself, my husband, my (future) kids, and my God. Not that I am overweight. But I want to BE healthy, not just LOOK healthy. I’m sure my heart will be thanking me down the road.
In other news, I finally got the opportunity to hit up SoS to get my name changed. I feel as though it would make my life easier in terms what “what name do I sign”? It doesn’t. Rawr. This process is annoying. It’s probably going to take me a year to get every account on the same page. Same with the whole address deal. I am currently living at an apartment temporarily. Do I use this address even though I’ll be moving again in the next year or so? Oh, life. Sometimes you come with confusing paperwork.
I’m feeling more confident in being who I want to be. I am going to ironically follow up this sentence with, “I feel like Taylor Swift”. Which in case, would sort of negate the sentence before it. But what I mean is I’m taking the “I-dont-care-what-you-think-about-how-I-look” type approach. I’ve recently gotten into trying out new styles and new make-up. Do I sometimes look like a clown? Probably. But I like it. Do people often mistake me for being sick since I am so white? It’s happened. But I am done worrying about being too pale or too plain. I do what I want, son! At least I’m not going to be fake-baked (or even real sunned) to the point that I have grandma wrinkles when I’m 30 like some people I know. :-P To each his/her own. They can feel free to work those wrinkles all they want. ;)
The Taylor Swift thing is not only her attitude about “do what I want”, but also rockin’ my fair skin and red lips. I guess that’s kind of an Alexz Johnson/Jude Harrison way-of-life, as well. Well, both of them are modest and beautiful (and blonde…but that’s besides the point). So I say, bring it on!
Alright, my apartment is a disaster. My throat hurts. The Xbox is calling my name, and I will respond but not to play games rather to load my work-out DVD. Then it’s laundry and clean-up until I leave for Bible study at 550. Ha. I like how I just listed things that will take me 6 hours in the next 90 minutes.
PEACE!
